EQUITY IN THE COVID-19 RESPONSE
Mass General Brigham (MGB) has launched a system-wide effort to ensure that patients, providers, and employees are treated equitably and have access to necessary information during the COVID-19 pandemic. The MGB COVID-19 webpage contains information for patients and employees in multiple languages. Information about the MGB COVID-19 hotline, which is available to anyone regardless of immigration status or insurance, is also available in multiple languages.

DSC FACULTY: MGH EQUITY & COMMUNITY HEALTH COVID RESPONSE TEAM
Mass General has launched the MGH Equity and Community Health COVID Response Team comprised of staff across the hospital, including DSC faculty Dr. Joseph Betancourt and Aswita Tan-McGrory. The team is working to ensure that all we do to address COVID-19 at MGH has equity and community health as our foundation. The team has workstreams focused on ensuring that all communications to patients and employees are in multiple languages, that all clinical interactions have the capacity to meet the needs of diverse and multilingual populations, and that the critical social needs of our communities are addressed.
JOSEPH R. BETANCOURT, MD, MPH, Vice President and Chief Equity and Inclusion Officer at Mass General, is leading the MGH Equity and Community Health COVID Response Team with Joan Quinlan, MPA, Vice President of Community Health.
ASWITA TAN-MCGRORY, MBA, MSPH, is part of the MGH Equity and Community COVID Response Team. She is the Administrative Director of the Mongan Institute and Director of the Disparities Solutions Center.
